his growing up years. He then moved to Sydney, Australia where he spent a number of years drifting from one interest to another. Always knowing he had a keen interest in music, but not knowing in what arena to apply it, he auditioned one day on a whim for a regional Australian production of Les Miserables. Managing to secure the lead role (Jean Val Jean) he fell in love with the stage.

He then went on to do several more musicals, plays and independent films in Australia before moving back to New Zealand to take a position with the New Zealand Opera Company.

He now resides in New York City and is regularly performing on stage and screen in New York and around the country.
